The Evacuation Shelter at Foresthill High School is now closed.
As of 10 am this morning, all roads will be open to residents with valid ID. Firefighters continue fire suppression efforts, strengthening fire lines. Smoke may be visible as unburned areas of brush, within containment lines, periodically burn. Fire line repair is underway in all areas of the fire.
Evacuations/Road Closures: Residents of the Foresthill Communities are requested to not travel west into the canyon on Yankee Jims Road until further notice, due to continuing fireline and road rehabilitation. |
