Conditions: Heavy fuels continued to burn in the interior of the fire and crews continue to seek out and extinguish hot spots along the perimeter. A type III federal management team will assume command of the fire on Tuesday 9/18 at 6 a.m.
The North Arm Indian Valley and Diamond Mountain roads remain open to residents only. The mandatory evacuation remains in effect for: Taylor Lake, Wilcox Valley, and Antelope Lake. A forest closure is in place to ensure safety in the vicinity of the fire. All major highways remain open, however most Forest roads are closed to access. Evacuations and road closures are being re-evaluated.
